About Transparent Civil Society Initiative

The Transparent Civil Society Initiative (Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft) was founded in 2010 on the initiative of Transparency International Germany. Together, stakeholders from civil society and academia defined ten fundamental points that every civil society organization and every charitable organization should make available to the public. These include, for example, the organization's statutes, the names of decision-makers, and information about the origin of funds and the use of donations. To date, more than 2,000 organizations have joined the initiative alongside EinDollarBrille.
