When I met the project for the first time in the “eye care hospital” (Social Business established in Bangladesh), I was really impressed not only by the product - it was more for the objective, the mission it has. Later I decided to contact them and see if it was feasible to develop it in Mexico.
Finally, after I did lots of research of the potential problems Mexico has faced (over 48 million people have no access to visual care), the ODG management gave me the chance to promote the product in Mexico. Now I can say that with more than 20 months of handling the project in my home country, we have helped more than 30,000 people (children, adults) with lots of success, giving them the chance to see.
Now the aim is to continue working in rural communities and try to get sponsorships to support the business. This is a real change (help people and give them the chance to SEE).
